Maple-Glazed Air Fryer Salmon

A quick and reliable recipe, perfect for busy weeknights. UMAM fish sauce replaces salt and naturally balances the sweetness of maple syrup, resulting in tender, beautifully caramelized salmon. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep, this dish is always a crowd-pleaser.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Marinating time: Minimum 1 hour

Cooking time: 6 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 300 g salmon
  • 1 tbsp UMAM fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Oil (for cooking)

Instructions:

  1. In an airtight container, combine the fish sauce and maple syrup. Season with black pepper to taste.
  2. Add the salmon, ensuring it is well coated, and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Lightly spray the salmon with oil.
  4. Place the marinated salmon in the air fryer at 195 °C (380 °F) for 6 minutes, skin-side down. Serve with the sides of your choice.
